Still making good progress. Largest upgrade is removing the localhost note html trigger and replacing it with an import def trigger. Originally the localhost trigger was designed to allow for different servers to run different parts of CommiePub, but the efficiencies we are getting so far make that original plan meaningless now. So, it's less code, less processing, more good stuff. 🥰 - Nol

First test after major updates. Html/json template system updated and cpub.py's json moved intothe template file, as well as several portions of the html code updated with new icons and formatting. Some deliverability repaired, quotes repaired, but not tested. If you can see and reply to this, I would greatly appreciate it. 🥰 - Nol ❤️

Code portability improvements are ongoing and includ html template file for easier html editing, as well as function adjustments that removed duplicate and outdated code.

All scripts have been modified to pull server details from the new config.py file, allowing for a single configuration point. Installation script started and about 80% completed. A few more upgrades, then beta testers will be needed. -Nol

First test of the Tor enabled CommiePub was a partial success. I was able to follow this account from nol@tgz2b42kcmjuofxzgk5lo3my63ocam4hfjgqtlxx3z3hf4zrlxds4xad.onion

Because this account isn't tor enabled yet, I wasn't able to receive the confirmation, and work needs done, but if anyone understands the implications of this success... this is pretty cool. 😍 - Nol

Work on the installation script is going well. Although, still trying to decide just how automated it should be. Should it auto install even the security files, or have the user do it? Should the user fill out the configuration file, then run the installation or should the installation ask questions and build the configuration file? 🤔 🤷‍♀️ Not sure yet. Thoughts?

A lot of the work being done on CommiePub now is behind the scenes; improving portability, security, and resilience. While it's a bit tedious, it's all in preparation for beta testing, where we will start to be able to offer CommiePub code to the public. ❤️ - Nol
